Great Mexican Food Suggestions for Your Next Picnic

Benito’s has so many delicious choices on the menu that it might be hard to make a decision. We’ll help by providing a few suggestions of foods that happen to “picnic” quite well.

You can’t go wrong with a salad on a warm spring or summer day! We pile spiced ground or shredded beef with Monterey Jack cheese, tomatoes, and black beans on crisp lettuce served in a tortilla shell and garnished with sour cream and avocado slices.

The quintessential Mexican finger-food, our tacos make a hearty, yet easy-to-eat lunch for picnics. Choose from Tacos De Picadillo, with two ground beef tacos in flour tortillas served with rice and beans or Tacos y Frijoles Charros, featuring two shredded beef tacos in flour tortillas with frijoles charros.

Enchiladas, Tostadas, and Flautas, Oh My!

We have several combinations of enchiladas, tostadas, and flautas. One of our favorites is Enchiladas De Chili Con Carne, featuring two enchiladas with chili, cheese, and onions and served with rice and beans.

You can also try Tostadas De Chorizo. You’ll get two tostadas with our flavorful Mexican sausage, plus rice and beans.

If you love the flavor of flautas, then Flautas De Pollo—two Chicken flautas with sour cream, plus rice and beans—is just the ticket.

There are so many more items to choose for your picnic—just stop by Benito’s and pick your favorites or head to our website to plan ahead. Then pick up your lunch at the counter and head off to one of the neighborhood parks or attractions for a day of food, fun, and family!
