If you’re a resident of Fort Worth and haven’t yet visited Stockyards Station, now’s the time! An immersive look into Western heritage, this Historic District has attractions for the entire family. Filled with stores, rides, wild west shows, rodeo events and more, your little cowgirls and cowboys will have a blast exploring this expansive place.
Looking for a beach-y experience without traveling to the beach? Fort Worth’s Burger’s Lake has all that you’re looking for! This immaculate 30-acre park features a large lake complete with diving boards, a trapeze and a slide that is open for swimming (with certified lifeguards on duty!). Their sandy beaches will let you lounge and work on your tan, while shady areas are available for those who want to keep out of the sun. Make it a large family BBQ with the on-site charcoal grills and picnic tables! Admission is $15 per person, $5 for children 6 years old and under, and free for babies under 1 years of age.
Fort Worth Zoo
Hailed as one of the Top 5 Zoos in the entire nation, the Fort Worth Zoo is a fantastic day trip for the whole family. Rockwood Go-Kart & Golf
This will undoubtedly be a fun excursion for those who enjoy getting outdoors! Rockwood Go-Kart & Golf is both Fort Worth’s oldest and fastest go-kart track! Open 7 days a week (perfect to take the kids when they’re out of school!), it features a fun go-kart track as well as an 18-hole mini-golf course.
Flight Deck Trampoline Park
For those looking for an active place to take the kids, but don’t want to splurge on an entire theme park trip, Flight Deck Trampoline Park is the perfect option for the whole family. Connected trampolines create an entire indoor court that will have you jumping nonstop to your heart’s content!
