Classic Margaritas

The classic margarita is most likely everyone’s introduction to the world of margaritas. It’s a simple and effective recipe that you can make in five minutes, and one which you can also change easily to fit your taste buds:
- – 3/4 oz Lime juice, freshly-squeezed or 1 1/2 cups Lime juice, freshly-squeezed
- – 2 ice cubes
- – Now add your favorite liquor. 1.5 oz. of Tequila or even 1oz of Cointreau
Strawberry Lime Margarita
Another classic flavor is the strawberry lime margarita.
This margarita combines the sweet strawberry tastes with tangy lime for a drink that’s boozy and delicious. For the best results use:
- – 2 cups of frozen strawberries
- – 4oz of frozen concentrate limeade
- – 2 cups of ice
- – 6oz of Tequila
- – Add salt as you prefer
Moonlight Margaritas
The Moonlight Margarita is a great example of how the margarita is a drink which can be creatively adapted for great combinations.

- – 1.5 oz. tequila (I like Jose Cuervo Gold)
- – 3 oz. margarita mix
Mango Margaritas

The mango margarita combines great taste and innovation with all the booziness you love from traditional flavors.
This next suggestion takes the idea of fruit infused margaritas to another level by adding turmeric to the equation.
It’s a craft margarita that will take you about 10 minutes to prepare, but will have you looking like a mixologist at your next gathering.
Mango Margaritas:
- – 2 cups frozen mango
- – 1/2 cup tequila
- – 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- – 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- – Tajin Seasoning
- – 3 tablespoons turmeric simple syrup
Turmeric Simple Syrup:
- – 1 cup water
- – 1 cup sugar
- – 1 cup peeled and diced turmeric root
BlackBerry Lemonade Margaritas
Blackberry lemonade is already a delicious tasting drink on any given day and makes for a tasty beverage when you add tequila to the mix.
The blackberry lemonade margarita is the collision of two tasty worlds.
Blackberry Puree:
- – 1-2 tablespoons sugar
- – 1-1/2 to 2 cups fresh (rinsed and drained) blackberries
Blackberry Lemonade Margarita:
- – 4 oz. good quality silver tequila
- – 1/4 cup sugar
- – 4 teaspoons blackberry puree
- – 2 lemons (Meyer lemons)
- – 4 oz. lemonade (store bought or homemade)
